1. About

These terms govern the booking of sessions through this website, operated by Astryq. By completing a booking you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.

2. Sessions

Each session is 90 minutes in duration and is provided as a one-to-one consultation or working session covering web development, custom software solutions, or related technical topics. Sessions are conducted remotely unless otherwise agreed in advance.

A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent to you. Astryq reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at its sole discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

3. Payment

All payments are processed securely through PayPal at the time of booking. The session fee is displayed on the booking page and is inclusive of any applicable taxes. Payment must be completed in full before a booking is confirmed — no session will be held without prior payment.

Prices are subject to change. Any change in price will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed and paid.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled session start time using the cancellation link provided in your confirmation email. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are non-refundable.

If you wish to reschedule, please cancel your existing booking (if outside the 24-hour window) and make a new booking for your preferred time. Rescheduling within the 24-hour window is treated as a late cancellation and is non-refundable.

If Astryq cancels a session, you will receive a full refund. Astryq will make every reasonable effort to provide advance notice of any cancellation.

5. Intellectual Property

Any advice, ideas, code snippets, or materials shared during a session remain the intellectual property of Astryq unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. You are free to use guidance provided during sessions for your own projects, but you may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit session content without prior written consent.

Any materials, code, or assets you share during a session remain your intellectual property. By sharing them you grant Astryq a limited licence to review and work with them solely for the purpose of the session.

6. Confidentiality

Astryq treats all information shared during sessions as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without your consent, except where required by law. Equally, you agree not to disclose any proprietary methods, processes, or business information shared by Astryq during sessions.

7. Conduct

You agree to engage with sessions in good faith and in a professional manner. Astryq reserves the right to immediately terminate a session if conduct is deemed abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

Astryq reserves the right to refuse future bookings from anyone who has previously breached these terms.

8. Liability

Sessions are provided on an advisory basis. While every effort is made to provide accurate and helpful guidance, Astryq makes no warranty that advice given will achieve any specific outcome. You are responsible for any decisions made or actions taken based on information provided during a session.

Astryq's total liability in connection with any session shall not exceed the amount paid for that session. Astryq is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from the use of this service.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or from a booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

Astryq may update these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects when they were last revised. Continued use of the booking service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
